The Family That Stays Broken Stays Blessed | The Quarantined Family | P. Jason Lozano

1. A First Love - Recognizing and Valuing Someone at the Highest Level

Rev 2:1-4 To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things
says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the
midst of the seven golden lamp stands: 2 “I know your works, your labor,
your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you
have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found
them liars; 3 and you have persevered and have patience, and have
labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. 4 Nevertheless
I have this against you, that you have left your first love

● They fell in love with Jesus and it completely changed their way of
life, they were totally sold out to Jesus with no sorrows or regrets,
with no boundaries to their love, and no limits to their sacrifice

Deut 6:5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all
your soul, and with all your strength.

Lk 7:47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven , for
she loved much . But to whom little is forgiven , the same loves little

Jer 29:11,13 I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans of
peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 13 And you will
seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart

Acts 19:18-19 many who had believed came confessing and telling their
deeds. 19 Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their
books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up
the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver

2. We Must Fight to Remember, It Brings Brokenness and Humility

Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do
the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your
lamp stand from its place—unless you repent

Ps 34:18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the humble

Ps 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds
Is 57:15 I dwell with the oppressed and humble of spirit, to restore the
spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the contrite

Is 66:2 I will bless those who have humble and broken hearts

Matt 23:12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who
humbles himself will be exalted

Deut 8:11-14 Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not
keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I
command you today, 12 lest when you have eaten and are full, and have
built beautiful houses and dwell in them; 13 and when your herds and
your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all
that you have is multiplied; 14 when your heart is lifted up, and you
forget the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from
the house of bondage
● We need these memorials to remind us and the next generations of
the goodness and faithfulness of God so we never forget it

Ps 51:12,16-17 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me
by Your generous Spirit. 16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would
give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are
a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart, God You will not despise

● Repentance begins with honesty - Compare where your heart is
today versus where it was when you first fell in love with Jesus

● For many, quarantine has been a blessing in disguise

Tithe & Offering - Giving the Tithe & Offering is Our Way of Saying Thank You

Deut 8:18 And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who
gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which
He swore to your fathers, as it is this day
